York College of Agriculture & Technology is a unique, intimate learning environment where diverse, talented and promising students are given the tools to embrace their full potential and pursue their aspirations through a true hands-on agricultural experience.
Log Hollow Farms, the future site of York College, is a permaculture farm and off-grid living center. We focus on growing food, bringing back old methods, and offering ideas on sustainable living.
When founder Rohn moved to Log Hollow Farms ten years ago the land was barren from logging. Rohn planted thousands of trees, fruits, and vegetables and rebuilt the soil to create an oasis of growth and life on land that was recently desolate.
Meet Our FoundersWe hope to create opportunity for a new generation of farmers to develop hand skills in building and agriculture, and create opportunity for a future generation of BIPOC and future farmers to connect with the land.
Our CurriculumYork Agricultural College aims to offer a distinctive approach to education that intentionally integrates academics, work, and community engagement to develop diverse, talented, and powerful graduates.
This innovative, three-year school will be located on the 45 acre farm just outside of Chehalis, Washington.
